WELCOME TO THE CAF CENTRAL TEXAS WING
The Central Texas Wing Museum houses seven CAF aircraft for which the Wing has maintenance and restoration responsibility: a very-rare flying Bell P-39Q Airacobra Miss Connie, the NAA B-25J Yellow Rose, a Vultee BT-13 Valiant, and a Cessna U-3A Administrator, Beech C-45 Expeditor Lone Star Lady, the NAA AT-6 Texan, and the Douglas Sktrain C-47 That's All Brother. You can also visit our museum and gift shop or attend one of our events.

Our museum is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday each week from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free, but your donations help us keep em flying!
12 Planes of Christmas

Our "12 Planes of Christmas" campaign is officially live for the P-39 Airacobra! We invite you to support our ongoing restoration efforts by sharing our campaign and making a donation.
Keeping this Airacobra in the air is crucial for honoring the early American fighter pilots and preserving a lesser-known chapter of World War II aviation history. While the P-39 didn't achieve the fame of later fighters like the P-51 Mustang, it played a vital role in the early combat experiences of American pilots. By maintaining this rare P-39, the CAF ensures that future generations can connect with the innovation and bravery of those early aviators.
Supporting this project not only preserves a unique piece of aviation history but also honors the legacy of American fighter pilots who helped shape the future of aerial combat.
